Program · The foundations of self-reliance
Financial Literacy
We teach young people the basics of financial management — budgeting, saving, and enterprise — so they are prepared for financial independence and self-reliance.
Why this program exists
Income without financial skills rarely becomes independence. Across all our programs, KEYSA teaches young people the basics of financial management: budgeting, saving, record-keeping and the fundamentals of running a small enterprise.
For graduates of our training programs who want to start businesses, we work towards a revolving fund offering microloans, paired with business training and mentorship — creating a sustainable cycle where today's beneficiaries become tomorrow's employers and mentors.
