Education & Scholarships
We sponsor vulnerable students by covering their school necessities and prioritise access to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), giving young people the educational foundation they need to succeed.
Why this program exists
Education sits at the heart of everything KEYSA does. Many young people across Bungoma, Kakamega and Busia counties are locked out of learning not by ability, but by circumstance — school fees, learning materials, family hardship, or the stigma that follows a teenage pregnancy.
We sponsor students by covering their school necessities, and we place special emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET): practical, marketable skills that lead directly to employment or self-employment. For young mothers and school-leavers, TVET is often the fastest, most dignified route back into education and towards independence.
Beyond fees and materials, we surround every learner with mentorship, counselling and life-skills workshops — because staying in education is as much about support as it is about money.
